Feeling Content With What We Have!

While sitting here in Newport Beach writing, I overheard a guy who was talking on the phone about a trip that he is taking soon for his job.  It wasn't clear to me what he does for work, but whatever it is, it certainly seems interesting!  Apparently he is travelling from Newport Beach, California, to St. Lucia, then to New York, and then to Sweden!  Although, he may just skip New York, save the money and head straight from St. Lucia to Sweden.  (Disclaimer:  I don't condone eavesdropping, it just so happened that he was sitting right next to me!  LOL.)

To be honest, at first, I started to have some feelings of jealously within myself, and I even tweeted, "I want to do what he does."  However, I then reminded myself about just how lucky I am to be sitting here myself, writing, and sharing some thoughts (and hopefully some inspiration) with all of you!  THIS is what I love to do! Pursuing acting, writing, living in California, surfing, having my amazing friends nearby.  It's an added bonus that the pacific ocean is sparking just a few feet away from me!  

This little incident made think about what we should all strive to do each and every day:  Be content and be thankful for what we have, right now! 

Would it be fun to do all that travelling?  I'm sure it would!  However, what I love is right here, right now.  I've created a life that I am happy to say I love living!  (And so can you, if you visualize what you want to do, and make a clear-cut plan for your success.)

I am confident that everything else that I'd like to do and accomplish in life, including travelling to those amazing locations, will come in time!  Until I have the opportunity to fly to all of those places, I'm going to continue to LIVE IT UP, and do my best to enjoy every moment!  Besides, I don't really like all those germs on airplanes, anyway.  ;P
