Happy Tuesday, guys and girls!

How's the day been?  I hope it has been another wonderful one for all of you who are reading this!

Today was a good one for me - and I got a lot of things done toward my acting career, including doing a lot of writing for acting.about.com!  A bunch of new articles will be up soon, so please keep an eye out!

While working here on my laptop today, I heard a song that I used to absolutely love:  "Move Along" by "The All American Rejects."  In fact, I still love this song!  For some reason, it spoke to me today; the message that reminds us that "when everything's wrong, we move along."

This song is a good reminder that even in the toughest of times, don't stop moving forward.  In an article that I wrote last year, I compare an actor to a shark.  (There's an old saying that if a shark stops moving it will die.)  Whether you're an actor or not, I believe that we can learn from this idea; that we always need to keep going, keep moving, toward our dreams and our goals.  Don't stop, and never give up.  (Click here if you'd like to read the article.)

Life can get tough sometimes.  And much is out of our control.  But if we commit to doing the best that we can with the moment that we're given, and if we commit to constantly moving forward, I believe that we can get through anything.

Move along, friends!  One day at a time!

Feel the Love!  #ValentinesDay

What's up guys and girls!

How are all of you doing on this lovely Valentine's Day evening?  I hope you're having a great night, and most importantly, I hope that you're feeling loved!

-And I don't only mean "feeling loved" by a significant other; which some of you may have while others do not.

What I mean is that I hope that you are feeling love for yourself and that you are projecting love to yourself and being good to yourself.  It's really important to love who you are, and to treat yourself as if you were your own friend!

I believe that being kind to yourself, (and especially during tough times,) will always help you to feel happier.  If you're unhappy today or if you're experiencing feelings of regret, for example, don't beat yourself up!  This is a brand new day, and it's a brand new opportunity to feel love and feel happy.  A great way to begin to feel happier in general is to love yourself for exactly who you are; for all of your flaws, all of your past mistakes, and of course for all of your amazing qualities!  There is only one of you, and you're completely unique.

Meditation

In order to feel happier, try meditating and simply be kind to yourself.  In my latest YouTube video, I talk about happiness.  (The video is right there, below this post!)  Maintaining happiness is a choice, by seeking the positives in life.  There is a man who is known as "The Happiest Man on Earth," and he explains that he meditates on "compassion."  (Here's the link to the article I'm talking about!)  I think it's important for all of us to learn from this man, as compassion is truly what love is all about.

Love ya and Happy Valentine's Day,

Jesse x

My Audition Today - AND a New YouTube Video is Up!!

What's up guys and girls!  Happy Friday!!

This week has flown by!!  And the sun in LA has been heating Southern California up for the past week - something that I am very grateful for!  (Looks like it'll stay warm for a while, then rain again - which we need, too!)

Anyways, it's Friday evening and I thought I'd talk to you about my day!  It was a great day for me, and I had my first commercial audition in quite some time!  With a new talent agent on my team for 2016, I'm super excited for what's in store for this year!

As I often write about on acting.about.com, auditions can be rather nerve racking at times.  It's important to make the most out of the experience, which is exactly what I aimed to do today!  My audition was literally just down the street over on Sunset Blvd, and I was able to walk there - already alleviating the stress of driving in LA.  (Seriously, if I never had to drive in LA again I think I'd be totally fine with that!)

After my audition, which ended up going very smoothly (and I even met a new actor friend!) I walked back to my little apartment (otherwise known as DaleyPlanet!) and recorded a new YouTube video. (Here's the link to my video if you'd like to check it out!)

I also posted a new article (regarding "Pilot Season 2016") to my page at About.com.  (Here's the link to my new article!)

Honestly, guys and girls, thank you so much for supporting my videos and my work as a writer - I truly appreciate each and every one of you!!

Let me know what you're up to this weekend!

LOVE YA!!

Just a Few Mid-Week Thoughts!

Hey what's up guys and girls!  How's your night coming along?!

I'm just chilling with a cup of green tea, listening to relaxing music, cooking some pasta and of course, writing.  I think this is my version of yoga/meditation haha.

I had a great day today:  I met with my talent agents, wrote, and had coffee with a good friend of mine to discuss music and songs!  We're planning on singing at a few low-key places in and around Hollywood this year, and I'm super excited!!  I think I'm mostly excited that my friend and I are making this happen - and I'm seeing a goal come to life!  Planning for this experience is just another example of how setting a goal and following through with it allows you to literally achieve anything that you set your mind to!

I believe that confidence plays a key factor in achieving your goals and dreams.  As I point out on acting.about.com, acting, for example, is a very tough industry to work in.  However if you tackle your dream/goal with confidence, enjoy what you're doing, and if you do one thing every single day toward your goals, you can absolutely reach them.  (Click here to check out some ideas on how to reach your goals in a timely manner.)

I'll keep you all posted on what I'm up to!

More importantly, what are you up to?!  What are some of your goals and dreams that you're working towards?!

- Feel free to leave a comment below, tweet me, or comment on my YouTube Channel.  I love to hear from you all, and I do my absolute best to reply to all of my comments!

Lots of love, guys and girls!

...IT IS 24 DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY!!!   WOOOOOOO!!

What's up guys and girls!  As I pointed out in yesterday's post, pretty crazy to think that January is gone already!  (By the way, during the last weekend of January, the SAG Awards were held here in Los Angeles and painted a more diverse picture of Hollywood than the Academy Award nominees. Read more here!)

I'm super excited for this month, friends.  (And not only because I can't wait to celebrate my birthday haha!)  I've just recently signed with a new talent agent, and I'm hopeful for more auditions this month, through the winter/spring, and "pilot season"!  Such an exciting time!!

But you know, there is excitement and wonder in every single day, whether it's the first day of the month or the 31st.  Each day is a new opportunity to be grateful and to "live it up" as much as possible! Take everything one day at a time, friends.

And always be you, because you're beautiful inside and out.

**New YouTube Video coming ASAP!!**

Love yaaaa!  Happy FEB!
