What's up guys and girls!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I love this day.  Basically, it's the one day of the year that I can dress up like a tiger and not be looked at like I'm crazy!  And I do like to dress up like a tiger sometimes.  RAWR.  Ok...anyways.  LOL.

What are your plans for tonight??  I'm headed over to the West Hollywood Carnaval! It's a super fun event, and here's why!  PLEASE come and say HI if you're there!! :)

My main message to all of you tonight is to please, please be SAFE!  Don't drink and drive, and make sure to be vigilant about your surroundings!  Can't be too careful.

That being said, I also hope that you have a ton of fun and LIVE IT UP!!  I'll keep you posted on how my Halloween night goes.  Will be posting about it here on Behind The Sign!

P.S.
I've got a brand new YouTube video that was posted the other day, which I've attached below.

P.P.S
New articles are uploaded on acting.about.com!  I hope you'll check them out.

Each New Day

Hey guys and girls and happy Thursday morning!

I hope you are ready for a brand new, exciting day today.  What are your plans?

For me, I'm working on set today as an "extra" - which actually is a lot of fun!  I'm able to learn more about the entertainment business as well as meet people who I can interview and learn from!  (Many of these interviews are on acting.about.com!)  I've realized that through my time pursuing acting, we actors work many types of jobs in order to make ends meet.  And that actually ends up being pretty amazing.  Many lessons learned in this biz, that's for sure.  -  There certainly is never a dull moment!

What I've equally come to understand is the importance of taking each new day as it comes.  We are not promised anything.  And everything can change in the blink of an eye!

So, let's take this day, today, and live it up!  Try not to worry too much about the future, and the past is completely gone and over-with.  Focus on the present.

Live in the moment, my friends!  And smile as much as you can.  :)

New YouTube video will be up soon, as well as new articles on acting.about.com!

Love yaaaa!

The Past Couple of Weeks...

Hi guys and girls!

Wow, what a crazy past couple of weeks it has been.

I have not written or posted much of anything about what has been going on in my life for the past couple of weeks, however, given the friendships that I have been fortunate to have made with many of my readers and followers on social media, I wanted to quickly fill you all in on everything.

For the past few weeks, I've primarily been with my mom in Orange County.  She has been in and out of the hospital for some stomach/digestive issues.  She dealt with a couple of extremely strong infections, and it was really scary for a while.

I am happy to report now, however,  that FORTUNATELY, Mama Daley is much, much better now!  :D

The whole experience of having my mom in the hospital was extremely scary and difficult.  This was the first time anything like this has happened in my family.  And I think the worst part of it all is feeling like you can't fix the situation!  All you want is for your loved one to get better and to feel good again.

Through the difficulty in all of it, the experience has reminded me (and my mom!) yet again of the importance of not taking anything for granted.  We are so fortunate for every single day that we are here on Earth!!  And having good health is such a blessing.

I'll share some videos that my family and I made while we were with Mama Daley in the hospital soon.  Even while experiencing a tough situation, she was always in good spirits!!  I feel that it is vital to constantly strive to seek the positives in all situations, even when it may appear that there are not many.

Live it up, love it up, and never take one second for granted my friends!!  x

(I will keep you posted on Mama Daley's progress!)

With lots of love,

Jesse x

The Moment

Hi guys and girls!

How are you all today?  I hope this Sunday is off to a lovely start for all of you!

The past week has been pretty crazy for my family and I (and I'll explain more about that later.)  But through this week, I've realized, yet again, that it is crucial to live in the moment and appreciate the gift of the day that we have today.

Additionally, appreciating our friends and family is, in my opinion, probably the most precious gift that life can provide us.

I'll explain more soon, but until then, live it up and share too much love with those around you!

Love you all!

PS - New articles are up on acting.about.com if you have a minute to check them out!
AND  a new VLOG is up on YouTube.com/jessedaley1
