As for me today, I just finished a very yummy cup of coffee, and I'm about to go for a run and start this afternoon off right!  I'll then work on more writing for acting.about.com.  Writing is honestly so amazing.  :)

We Have Less Than a Week Until #Christmas!!

The title of this blog post is still difficult for me to comprehend!  How is it almost Christmas 2015?!

It's super exciting, nonetheless!  And it's definitely looking a lot like Christmas here in Hollywood!  In fact, it's even been feeling a lot like Christmas, with nighttime temperatures in L.A. dipping into the 40's!!  (For those of us in California, that's really cold!)

What have I been up to lately?!  Well, I've been very busy working and also preparing to visit aunt Nini in Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday the 23rd. Mama Daley and I will fly from California and my twin sister (Shannon) will arrive from Baltimore on Christmas Eve!  Shannon is also having a bunch of her friends visit Kansas City, too!  It should be a fantastic time for all of us to be together.

With Christmas here again, I sort of automatically begin to reflect on the previous year.  I always say this, but it's hard to believe that another year has come and is now about to go!  (I wrote more about this on my website, acting.about.com.  That article will be up later this weekend.  If you have a bit of time, please check it out!)

I'm also about to upload a new YouTube video this weekend (a VLOG) that will show you how my friends and I reacted when we went to Las Vegas and saw a Penthouse Suite for the first time ever!! Just a warning, it's quite ridiculous!  (#SquadMas!)

What are you guys and girls doing for the Holidays?!  Please feel free to leave a comment or tweet me!  I always love to hear what you're up to.

Talk to you soon, be safe, and LIVE IT UP always!!

With lots of Holiday love and cheer,

Vegas AND The OC During The Same Weekend!!

What's up guys and girls!  Happy Sunday evening!

I had another amazing weekend.  And I honestly owe it all to my friends.

On Friday, "The Squad" - Matthew, Lucas and Kate - and I went to Las Vegas to celebrate Christmas, and then on Saturday, I went to Newport Beach to visit my friends from college for the annual "Santa Pub Crawl!"

Vegas was absolutely incredible.  Our room at the Bellagio was upgraded to a PENTHOUSE SUITE - and the 4 of us could hardly believe our eyes!  I've never seen a hotel room that was so incredible! I lost a little bit of money in the casino, but honestly, I wasn't even worried about it at all.  I felt like we had already won the jackpot - not only because of the room, but simply because we were having so much fun together!

The Newport Beach Santa Pub Crawl back in the OC was incredible, too.  And again, even though the actual experience was festive and super fun, the only thing that made it truly amazing were the people who I was with.

I feel extremely fortunate to have so many amazing people in my life.  I have the best friends that anyone could ask for.  And if you're reading this, whether or not I see you on a regular basis, or if we only see each one other/correspond on occasion, I simply want you to know that you mean a lot to me.  And I'm very lucky that our paths have crossed!!

Lots of love to all of you!

*(A new vlog with videos from our Vegas trip will be up this week on my YouTube!)
Also, I posted two brand new articles to acting.about.com, if you have a minute to check them out!

In The Moment Today!

Hey guys and girls Happy Wednesday morning!

What's new with all of you so far this week?!  I hope things are off to a good start for you.

So far my week has been great, I've been working a lot and I've been getting more and more excited about the Holidays!  How is it already this time of year?!

On December 23rd, I'll fly with Mama Daley out to Kansas City, Missouri to see my aunt (NINI!) as well as meeting up with my twin sister, Shannon, who arrives to KC from Baltimore!  It's crazy to think that that is only 2 weeks from today!

2015 has certainly been quite an incredible year; there have been many "ups" and "downs."  In my life this year, there have been some days that were amazingly wonderful as well as some days that were extremely difficult.  For example, one of my most exciting days was when I found out that I'd be signing with a great new talent agent!  On that day  I was able to see so many aspects of my acting career progressing!  On the other side of the spectrum, when Mama Daley was in the hospital a couple of months ago, I never have felt more nervous or helpless.  I didn't know what was going to happen next.

But, we learn from each experience, don't we?  With Mama Daley's hospitalization - as I pointed out on a recent YouTube video - I learned a lot from that particular experience.  I learned how it literally does no good at all to worry about what is going to happen next, because honestly in life, most things are out of our control.  I believe that it's important to simply do the best that we can do in the moment that we have, try to enjoy our moments, and to have faith that all things will work out.  None of us knows what what the future will bring.  All that we can do is to do our best to enjoy our current moment!  (And don't waste time with unhelpful distractions!  Here's an example of what I'm talking about.)

I wanted to take this opportunity today to remind you all to enjoy your current moment, and enjoy your day.  The current moment is a gift.  And thank you for sharing your time with me today by stopping by to check out my blog.

* I'll be posting more YouTube videos later this week and this weekend!

Lots of love!
