What's up guys and girls!!  I hope you've been having an amazing Memorial Day Weekend!  This is a time to remember and say thank you to those who have served and those who are currently serving.  So, THANK YOU to all of you out there who this applies to!

My Memorial Day Weekend has been a nice one.  I've been working a lot, but work is always a good thing as long as you enjoy what you're doing!  (It's very important to pursue your passions, friends.)  I talk a lot about finding and pursuing your passion in my new book, and if you haven't checked it out yet, here's the link.  I'd really appreciate your reading it!

As I mention in my book, right now you might be at a point in your life where you're not exactly sure what it is that you'd like to do for work.  Or maybe you're eager to change career paths but haven't decided on what you'd like to pursue.  That's OK.  It's not necessary or helpful to put a ton of pressure on yourself to make up your mind.  Simply pay attention to what excites you and begin to pursue those passions.

A favorite motivational author/speaker of mine is Dr. Wayne Dyer.  He said, "Stop trying to "find" your purpose.  Be your purpose."

I love this quote, and I've found it to be absolutely true.  For example, before I decided to pursue entertainment as a career, I wasn't exactly sure of what to do in my life.  I wanted to find what it was that I was "meant" to do.

Looking back, the only way that I have been able to understand what I wanted to do and the only way to find my "purpose" was to simply start.  And by "start" I mean that I paid attention to what brought me enjoyment and I pursued those things.  (Again, please check out my book for more information about this.)

My point is, friends, that I believe you will find your purpose when you are 1) true to who you are and 2) when you pay attention to what makes you happy and you pursue those passions.

This weekend, as we observe Memorial Day, keep in mind that those who have served and those who are currently serving have allowed us to live freely, and it is up to you to decide what it is that you'd like to do with that gift of freedom!

Happy Memorial Day,

Jesse x

What a Weekend!  Here's What Happened...

Guys and girls what's up!  Happy Sunday evening!  My little cat BENICE and I have been chillin' and watching the Billboard Music Awards.  This show has been off the charts! Everyone has done such a great job.

My weekend was off the charts, too!  And I wanted to include all of you in some of the fun things that I was up to.  This weekend kicked off with MAMA DALEY visiting LA from The OC!  She accompanied me to a photo shoot for new headshots and I'm super excited for you to see these pictures!  I shot with amazing photographer, Kenneth Dolin, and just as Ken did 8 years ago, he worked hard and got some great shots to make me look good!  :D

After the photo shoot, Mama Daley and I grabbed a couple of pina coladas and headed to a theater show over at Theater 68 in North Hollywood.  I must say that actors in this production did a fantastic job.  Check out Theater 68 if you're in LA and are looking for a great show!

Now, while the theater show was amazing, going out to the bars in West Hollywood with Mama Daley was a show all in itself!!  My mom is wild and crazy - and I mean that in the best way possible!  I think it's safe to say that she's where I get my love for partying from!! I feel so fortunate to have Judy as my mother, she's always so fun to spend time with!

I also was able to celebrate three birthdays this weekend for three amazing friends of mine.  It was a wonderful time with family and friends.

To top it all off, I received a paperback copy of my book, "An Aversion to the Definitive." Guys and girls, this was such a surreal feeling to hold the book in my hands!  Writing and publishing my book was a dream come true and I hope that you'll check it out if you haven't already.  It is my hope that through my book, you will be inspired to live truthfully and to live with no regrets.  (Here's the link to the book!)
(I will be donating 50% of proceeds from the book to a library that my twin sister, Shannon, created in Ecuador.)

This weekend was one to remember, and I hope it was amazing for all of you, too!

Remember to live life to the fullest every single day!  And please let me know what you think of my book through a review on Amazon.com if you have time!

Lots of love!

Hey guys and girls!!  As the title of this post reads, my BOOK has been self-published and it is available on Amazon.com!!  It's available as a paperback or an eBook!  (Here's the link to the book!!)  I am very excited to share this book with all of you, and it is my hope that you will find the stories that I share with you to be inspirational.

The summary/description of the book that I listed on Amazon reads:
An Aversion to the Definitive: A Boston Boy’s Coming of Age in Southern California The decade of the twenties was one which included self-discovery, first time experiences, learning lessons and fulfilling dreams. I invite you to join me along my journey as a boy from a small town in Massachusetts to becoming a young man living and working in Hollywood, California. It is my hope that some of the experiences and lessons I’ve shared with you will inspire you to live life to the fullest!

This book includes some very personal information and admittedly, it was a bit intimidating to share! However, I believe it's important and necessary to share, in order to be open and honest with my readers.

I truly hope that you'll grab a copy of my book.  I'd love to hear what you have to say about it!

Always be true to who you are!  Lots of Love!
