Happy Tuesday evening, guys and girls!  How are all of you!?  I hope you have had a great day! I've been working and doing everything that I can to live it up!  I thought I'd check in with all of you here on my blog and lend a quick thought.

No matter where you are reading this message from, and no matter what hardship you may be facing today, you have the power to live your dream.  Nothing in this world, - and no one - can hold you back from achieving what you hope to achieve.  The only person who can ever stop you is yourself.

Don't ever give up on yourself, and always remember that you are unique and amazing.  I believe that simply being who you are, living truthfully and listening to your heart will lead you to where you are meant to go.

Every day is a new opportunity to live your dream.  Seize the day, friends!

Lots of love!

What's up guys and girls! How's your evening coming along?  I've been working on lots of writing today, and have simply been thinking a lot about life tonight. Life is pretty incredible, right!? (Real life and social-media life, I mean.  Haha.)

You know, it's amazing to think about how social media and "internet life" (for a lack of a better term) has become such a huge part of all of our lives, at least here in America!  There are positives and negatives about it all, just like everything else I suppose.  But through social media I have been privileged enough to get to know many of you, and I've been able to share my thoughts with all of you about life and love, acting, Hollywood, the ocean, and lots of things in between.  I truly appreciate your taking the time to read my blog posts, my tweets, watch my YouTube videos, follow me on my journey toward my dreams, and interact with me.  Even during rough times, whenever I share my feelings, someone out there has reached out to leave a kind comment or an uplifting message. Thank you for that.

Dreamin'

I saw the attached photo online tonight and I wanted to include it in my post.  As we can see, it reads, "Dream until your dreams come true."

I love this quote, and I agree with it 100%.  Your dreams will come true, no matter what your situation looks like today.  Whatever you think of you can achieve. And though it does not happen overnight certainly, it definitely happens.  In order to reach your goals and dreams, you must keep your dream at the front of your mind at all times, knowing that each day, you're getting closer to it. Making your dream your reality involves not giving up, and it requires you to never stop dreaming.

More about dreams will be uploaded to my next YouTube video.  That will be up (hopefully) tomorrow!

Until then, keep on dreaming, friends, and live it up!

For My Dear Friend Carolyne Barry -

Hey guys and girls, I had posted this last night and I wanted to write it here on my Behind The Sign blog, too.  Carolyne Barry was an incredible woman.  She will be missed by many!  Love you Carolyne.

Tonight, we say goodbye to Carolyne Barry, a remarkable woman who positively impacted countless lives. After reading so many posts about her, I thought I'd include my own. Carolyne was my first acting teacher, mentor and friend in Hollywood. She was the first acting coach that I met with back in 2009 at her home to discuss the possibility of signing up for an on-camera commercial class. I was still in college at the time, and I remember naively explaining to her that I simply "wanted to have some fun and try living the Hollywood life!" She laughed and explained that it would take a lot of dedication and that it would be a lot of hard work. -And she was certainly right. In fact, she was always right! Any time that I felt that I needed guidance I would call her, and she would always take time out of her busy day to lend her advice and her encouragement. The lessons that I learned from Carolyne about Hollywood and about life in general will always stay with me. Carolyne lived the life of her dreams, and she inspired many others to do the same. Carolyne's passing tonight reminds me of how quickly things can change, and how important it is to live everyday to it's fullest, to live the dream; we never know what tomorrow will bring. Perhaps this was her final lesson. We love you, Carolyne - Thank you for everything!!  I've included this screenshot of a YouTube interview with Carolyne back in 2011! Such good times. (By the way, Carolyne would probably tell me that it's time to change my hairstyle, and again, she's probably right hahah.)  :)

Another Chance

Happy Tuesday, guys and girls!

I woke up today with the surprise of seeing it rain here in L.A.!  After yesterday (with it being extremely hot!)  it was a random, pleasant sight to see the rain!

I went out onto my balcony and just stood in this little shower for a few moments, simply allowing the rain drops to land on my skin.  For some reason, it felt cleansing!  (Odd, because I'm sure that the rain in L.A. is rather acidic haha.)

This rain shower reminded me to wash away all thoughts, and start the day completely fresh.  It's a new day, and anything is possible.

Every single day that we are given is a gift, and it is another chance to start living your life.  The past is over, the future is uncertain.  The NOW is all that we have.  Enjoy it.

Live it up today, friends!

Thoughts This Evening

What's up guys and girls!

Happy Wednesday.  I had an audition today, and I will be sharing that story pretty soon - (will keep you posted.)

I just wanted to remind all of you to follow your dream today, not tomorrow.  It will be tough at times, but it will be worth it.  In my case, one of my dreams is to be an actor.  I've achieved that dream already.  It has not been easy - and I have yet to be in a starring role on a blockbuster movie. But that doesn't matter to me at all!  The point is that I have accomplished my goal of becoming an actor - no matter how big or small the roles I've played have been! (I truly believe that there are no small roles.)

Anything from here on out here icing on the cake!

The point is that whatever it is that you hope to accomplish, simply making up your mind that you are going to start pursuing your passion will set you free.  You can do anything through hard work and faith.

There are new articles up on acting.about.com as of this past Sunday, so please head on over and check them out if you have a minute!

Love you

3 Reasons To Live in the Moment!

6/2/2015

Hey guys and girls!  Happy Tuesday morning!  Another week is already starting to fly by, isn't it!?

Well, I wanted to give you something to think about at 2AM (California time!)  Specifically, I thought I'd give three quick reasons why it is important to "live in the moment."

1)  NOW is All That We Have

The only moment that we have any sort of "control" over is this exact one, right now.  We have control over our choices in this moment, but most everything else in life is out of our control. Though we can plan (and planning is important,) the reality is that we do not know what is coming in the future, and the past is already completely over; it cannot be changed.  Living in the present moment and aiming to be aware of what is going on around us right now can help you to appreciate every second!

2)  Life Doesn't Wait

Life moves very, very quickly.  Don't let it get away from you!  I urge you to stop waiting until tomorrow to start making your dream your reality.  Start living your dream today.  As I wrote about at acting.about.com, "Make One Day Today!"

3)  You Deserve to Be Happy!

In all of your moments, you deserve to be happy!  Life is too short not to LIVE IT UP!  This does not mean that life is going to be "easy" or always "carefree."  There are, of course, times when life is very difficult.  Through all of the hardships that life can bring, aim to have faith that everything will work out the way that it is meant to work out.  Again, we only have "control" over how we respond to this exact moment in life, and it's helpful to constantly seek out the positives in every situation - including difficult ones. Remember that if you are experiencing a time in your life that is especially difficult today, know that you have a community of love and support all around you (including here on this blog!)

Never give up, guys and girls!

Thanks for visiting DaleyPlanet.  (I posted a new video on my YouTube last week, too!  Click here to check it out!)
