Happy Tuesday, guys and girls!!  It is the last Tuesday in 2014, and I honestly cannot believe that I am typing this!  It's nearly the NEW YEAR!!  How is that possible?  I feel like I just posted about the 2014 New Year, and an entire year has flown by!  But, it certainly has been a great year.  And hey, it isn't over yet!!

My family and I took the ferry over to beautiful Santa Catalina Island from December 26-28, and it was incredible.  That was my third trip to the island, and each time I go I think about never coming back to the "mainland!!"  Don't get me wrong; Hollywood is incredible, and I love living in the middle of the city!  In fact, as much as I am deeply in love with all of Southern California, the island dream is something that I will ultimately live.  And I get a taste of it every time I am on Catalina!

While on the island this time, my aunt Jeanne, "NINI" bought us tickets for a tour that took us through other parts of the island, and it was absolutely amazing!  It was so green on the island, I almost felt as though I was in a tropical environment!  More than anything, however, I simply enjoyed being at the beautiful condo that we rented, and spending time with family.

Now that I'm back on the mainland (haha,) we are preparing for an amazing New Years Eve celebration in Huntington Beach!!  My mom, sister, and great friend Liz are going to a luau!!  Should be interesting.

I will certainly write more about 2014 in another post, but for today, it is my hope that you all enjoy this last Tuesday of the year, and LIVE IT UP!!!  I'll be posting on my other sites as well, so please keep an eye out!!

As my photo says here at the top of my post, "CHEERS!"

Heading To Catalina Island Today!

Happy December 26th, my friends!!  How are all of you?  I hope you had an amazing Christmas, and I hope that you're excited for a happy and healthy 2015!!  During this last week of 2014, I will be very busy with my family, and today we are heading over to Santa Catalina Island!!

Catalina is about 26 miles off the coast of Southern California, and it's such a beautiful place.  (Check out another blog that I have, "Beach Day" for a photo of the island!)

I've always been attracted to the idea of the island-lifestyle.  For those of you that know me, you already know that I essentially only wear boardshorts and sandals haha.  So naturally, I'm going to feel right at home over on the island.  I'm excited to share lots of photos on my instagram and twitter with all of you!

There are several new articles that are posted up on acting.about.com, so if you have a minute, please check them out!  I hope you'll find some inspiration!

Have a great day!!

Tonight I am...

...Packing for The OC and Catalina Island!!  I am super excited for the next few days!!  My twin sister, Shannon, and my aunt, "Nini" arrive in California tomorrow, and it is definitely going to be a party!! Tonight I feel like I'm going at a million miles an hour to try and get everything ready for being away from Hollywood for a few days!  As much as I love living here in the city, I love to go away sometimes, and especially when going away means going to an island haha.

So tonight, I'm trying to get lots of things accomplished.  Aside from the mundane tasks such as cleaning the bathroom (which admittedly really needs to be done lol,) I am working on writing and singing.  I've ordered an awesome new microphone for song covers -  I simply need to figure out how to connect it properly to this laptop!

What are you guys and girls up to this evening?  Feel free to leave a comment below, or tweet me! Are you in the Holiday Sprit?!  Benice and I sure are!

Please keep an eye out for a brand new article on acting.about.com in a little bit!!

Talk soon!

Guys n Girls - Are You Ready?!

Happy Sunday, guys and girls!!  Can you believe that Christmas Eve is on Wednesday?!  Are you ready for it?!  I've got most all of my shopping done for my family, although there's a few more things that I'll pick up tomorrow haha.

I love this time of year so much!  But I truly cannot believe how quickly this year has gone by!  It pains me thinking about when I was a kid and all the "grown-ups" would say, "time moves faster when you're older!"  --  I hate to admit it, but it is kind of true!  (That's why we need to live every moment!)

This past weekend has been a lot of fun being with my amazing friends, working, and simply living it up!  Right now I'm packing for the OC and Catalina Island!  I'll be heading down to my mom's place on Tuesday, pick up my twin sister (!!) in the morning, and then my aunt Nini in the evening!

We leave for Catalina on the 26th.  I. Can't. Wait. !!   It's such a beautiful island!  You know, being with family and friends truly is the most important part of this season.  I hope that you all enjoy it and live it up as much as you possibly can!!

I'll be back on here tomorrow, and will keep you all updated on what's going on here in Hollywood and the OC!!

I'll leave you with this weird photo of me.  The lesson to learn from this photo is: Don't give Jesse Daley Christmas lights.  Hahaha  LOVE YOU ALL!

What's up guys and girls!! I hope your week has been a good one so far! It's been raining again in Southern California - it's great we really need this rain!

It's also great because I am a little too obsessed with the sunshine. I can certainly use a little break before Catalina island over the Christmas break! By the way - if you've never been to Catalina island off of the coast of SoCal - definitely try and go!!

I am really excited to my twin sister Shannon and my aunt Jeanne (who we call "Nini!"

What are you all doing?!

I'll post a other blog later on - And until then - enjoy this weird photo of my cat Benice and I!! Lol

#CaliforniaStorm

What's up everyone!  It's 3:30 AM here in California, and I can't sleep because I'm actually kind of nervous that the tree outside my window is going to come crashing inside!!  I have literally never seen this kind of weather in Southern California - and I've lived here for over 9 years!

We certainly need the rain, but this storm reminds me more of the storms that we had on the east coast while I was growing up.  I hope all of my fellow Californians stay safe!

All that said, how are you on this lovely morning?  I'm doing well, and the storm has definitely put me in the "Christmas" season mindset, as we don't really get that here in LA!  I keep thinking that I'm going to wake up to a lot of snow!  With less than 2 weeks now until Christmas Day, you can almost feel the excitement all around!  My twin sister, Shannon, and my aunt, "Nini," are coming to California soon to visit with my mom and I, and it will be amazing to see them.

I'm headed to set later in the day, and although I'm not really allowed to talk about projects on my blog, this one is a "small" role!  It's always a good time, and regardless of the "size" of the role - whether it's a "big" or "small" role, - it really doesn't matter!  It is what you make of it, and it's what you make of the overall experience.  (Just like life!)

Be safe in the #CaliforniaStorm, friends!!  And if you're reading this from another part of the world, don't worry, by the time you arrive here, I'm sure the sun will be shining again as always!! :)

Good Morning - Here's An Idea For You Today!

12/11/2014

Hey guys and girls!!  I tried to post this earlier but for some reason it deleted the post.  Anyways, to give you a shorter version of what I wrote earlier, my idea for you today is to make a list of what you're thankful for today, and what you'd like to accomplish tomorrow.  (By tomorrow, I mean the future.)

My good friend Liz and I are planning to make "vision boards" to focus on appreciating what we have today, and what we are aiming to do in the future.  It's a great way to motivate yourself.  I write more about "vision boards" in this article:  CLICK HERE

It's so important to appreciate what you have and who you have in your life, when you have it.  It's also very exciting to plan to achieve all of your dreams.  So, my friends, get a list going of what you're thankful for and what you want to do in your life.  Start planning and make all of your dreams come to life!  They will all come true through hard work and faith.

At The End of the Day...

12/8/2014

Take a few minutes to be thankful!  My friends, we were all just given the gift of another beautiful day, and a price cannot be put on that. Sometimes I think about how easy it is to forget how quickly things can change.  We set up our lives to have some sort of "structure" to them, and at times, it appears that there is a lot of structure to the day.

We have schedules, meetings, work, class, and everything in between.  And all of these things allow us to feel like we have control over what's happening in our lives each day.  But the reality is that these things are only an illusion of control.  In fact, when you think about it, everything is out of our control.  Even when a day is perfectly-planned, there could be an accident, a random health issue, or a meteor could hit the Earth!

I hope that this post doesn't sound apocalyptic haha! I mean all of these things in a positive light. My point is that we are fortunate to have peace during the day, as each day is a gift.  And at night, try to take some time to think about how fortunate you are, and to think the people in your life who you love.   Be thankful for them.  (I am thankful for you guys and girls who always support me!)

Treasure each moment!!  Love you all!

Rainy Day in LA?!  Here's What I'm Up To!

12/1/2014

I woke up this morning thinking, "it rains in LA?!"  I've lived here in Southern California for over 9 years now, and this year has certainly been one of the driest!  It feels like it never rains here anymore!  (Aside from the two parades of the season; Halloween and Christmas! Haha.)

As much as I love the sunshine, it's nice to wake up to the rain sometimes.  And we need it here in California, so it is very much welcomed!

How are you today, my friends?  I hope that you have been smiling.  Now that Thanksgiving has past, we have officially kicked off the 2014 Holiday Season!!  How exciting is that!?  My mom, my aunt, and my twin sister are really looking forward to visiting Catalina Island for Christmas this year!  What are all of you doing for the holiday that you celebrate!?

Doing One Thing A Day for your Career!

Remember how I wrote about doing at least one thing per day toward your goals and your career?  (If you don't remember, I totally forgive you, and here is the link!)  It's really important that you stay on track with doing something each day that will bring you closer to acheiving your goals.  For me today, I am going to be doing a lot of writing for my site, acting.about.com, and I'm also going to run over to "Samuel French Bookstore" on Sunset.  Actor friends, if you haven't been to Sam French yet, it's a great way to see what's going on in the biz, especially through the trade papers, such as "Backstage."

Most importantly, be sure that you're living every moment with happiness!  That's what it is all about, anyway.  :)

LOTS OF LOVE and here's to a successful and happy 2014 Holiday Season!!
