Tuesday Evening Inspiration

Hey guys and girls, happy Tuesday evening!

How are all of you?  I hope your evening is going well!

I wanted to share something with all of you as I believe that in order to continue to grow as my friends/followers, it's important to keep you in the loop of what I'm up to here in Hollywood.  Most notably, something that I have not shared with you on my blog is that I've been going to church!  Yes, church!  And it's been amazing!

There's a Christian church here in Hollywood called, "Mosaic," and there are multiple services throughout the week.  A couple of my friends and I have been attending recently, and I can honestly tell you that it is amazing to have found this great community of people right here in L.A!

You know, working in the entertainment industry has been such an unbelievably amazing experience of mine, and the community in this industry is incredibly diverse and awesome.  I love my entertainment community family.

That being said, the majority of us who work in entertainment do not work in a "normal" work environment.  We're not always around a lot of other people. There can be lots of days that we are actually by ourselves.  That can obviously become lonely. (My work as a writer has proven to include many lonely days.)  And being a social person, I do not ever like to feel lonely. - Actually, I don't think anyone likes to feel lonely, and remember that you always have a friend here on DaleyPlanet if you ever do find yourself feeling lonely! You can typically reach me at any time on my Twitter page!

Attending Mosaic Church has truly provided a new found sense of community to me, and I am very grateful for that!  I've become more inspired to get involved with my community around Hollywood, and I intend to work more with organizations around Hollywood in the near future.  And there is so much that can be done to help!  For example, there are many organizations that help wonderful communities such as the LGBT community - of which there is a large one in Hollywood and West Hollywood - and becoming more involved involved with such organizations is on my to-do list!  I'm very excited.  :D

We can all get involved in order to make a positive change, friends.  Regardless of where you live, regardless of whether or not you have ever attended church, or even if you currently feel that you don't have time to get involved in any organizations, remember that simply sharing kindness and acceptance for everyone is something that we all can do.  And it truly makes a huge difference!

With Lots of Love,

Jesse x

Keep Trying Your Best!

Happy Saturday, guys and girls!

I've been having a relaxing weekend here in LA, while at the same time getting a bunch of work accomplished.  I've been working on cleaning out my apartment in order to de-clutter my life a bit!  It feels really nice to get rid of old things that I simply don't need.
(Remember that if it's clothing that you're getting rid of, be sure to donate them!  I was able to donate a bunch of stuff!)

I wanted to touch base with all of you after I posted a YouTube video early this morning! I woke up super early today and I watched the beautiful sunrise from my balcony prior to posting my video.  (The photo of the sunrise is included here in my post!)

My latest YouTube video deals with the topic of continuing to always try your best. Listen, guys and girls, I'll be honest with all of you as I always aim to be:  This year has been amazing for me, but it's been challenging in certain ways, too.  However, in every situation that may prove to be difficult or challenging, there is always a lesson to learn.  And we can never give up.  We can never give up on our dreams, we can never give up on love, and we should never stop trying to be the best version of ourselves as possible.

You have so  much to offer the world, my friend.  I am nearly certain that some of you are having a tough time today - struggling in some way.  Life is not always easy, and unfortunately most things are out of our control.  What is fortunate, however, is that we have some control over how we respond to circumstances in our lives.  We have some control over how we respond to this moment.  So, keep trying your best, regardless of what challenges you might be facing today.

If you're trying your best and if you're being true to who you are, then you're doing a great job.

I've included my latest video below.

Love you friends,

A Lil' November Inspiration!

Guys and girls!  What's up!

How have you been?  I haven't written a post on my blog or made a YouTube video in over a little bit, and I wanted to quickly connect with all of you!  First of all, it's November (it's also Election Day!)  -- where is the year going?!

Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and then it's the holidays again!  That really doesn't even seem possible.  But time certainly flies, doesn't it?

This has been quite an interesting year for me.  It's been absolutely amazing in so many ways and it's also been very difficult in other ways.  Through it all, I'm constantly reminded of how short this journey that we call life really is.  And it is incredibly important to LIVE IT UP as often as we possibly can!

Every moment truly is a gift, and each day we have two choices.  We can either choose to focus on the negatives (which, if you look for them, you'll find a lot of them them) OR we can choose to see everything in life as a gift, and we can choose to see the positives.

Each and every one of us have challenges that we face every single day.  How we handle and how we deal with the struggles that we face is what truly matters.  So, today, if you're having a tough day, remind yourself that you are very strong and you are able to power through any adversity that you may face.  The key is to view everything is a gift.  It's also important to remember that a large majority of the time we have no idea of what someone else may be struggling with, so let's share as much love with each other as possible!

Check out my speech on Fearless Soul if you haven't already!  (Here's the link!)
