What's up guys and girls!

Happy Easter and happy Sunday evening!  I hope that your Easter weekend has been an amazing one!
My weekend was a ton of fun, and I feel very fortunate that I was able to spend it with with my mom on Saturday, and with my friends Matt, Lucas and Kate today!  I believe that life is able to be enjoyed to the fullest when you have great people around you, and I'm lucky to have such an amazing family and such wonderful friends. :D

On Saturday, I drove to Orange County and had a huge breakfast with Mama Daley which was amazing.  You know, my absolute favorite meal (besides pasta!) is breakfast.  It's literally the best way to start any day. After breakfast, I went on an Easter Egg hunt which my mom set up for me.  It consisted of finding one hidden egg hahah.  Gotta love it!

After leaving Mama Daley's, I headed back up here to LA and my friends and I went bowling. Bowling will never be boring.  I don't care how old I get, I will always love it haha.

Then, today on Easter, my friends and I cooked a homemade breakfast meal - also a huge one - which was equally as amazing.  If I could do massive breakfasts like this weekend every single day, my life would be complete.

To wrap up this great weekend, I've been working on some writing for acting.about.com, and you'll see a new article be uploaded to the site tomorrow! (Monday 3/28!)

For those of you who celebrate the holiday, what did you do for Easter?!  Please feel free to leave a comment below if you'd like to share! :D

Love you guys and girls and chat soon! x

Midnight Thoughts on a Thursday

Guys and girls what's up!!  Happy Thursday morning!

Another week is already more than halfway over!  Can we please slow time down a little bit?  Seriously.. it is moving way too fast.

Nevertheless, with time passing brings lots of new and amazing experiences, and I feel fortunate to share some of my experiences with all of you!  I have a few things to update you on!  Tonight I posted a new YouTube video where I sang a short cover of an amazing song from The Vamps, "High Hopes!"  I've always loved that song so much!  I also included a little message to (hopefully) remind you to never lose hope.

Friends, it truly is extremely important to keep your faith, and never lose hope.  Life is not always easy, that's for sure.  However, regardless of what hardship you might be facing today - and we are all facing some sort of struggle - know that if you keep moving forward and push through the tough times, you will come out of anything that you're going through as a stronger individual.  You are stronger than you may even realize.

As always friends, smile and keep your hopes high!

And if you're looking for a way to remain positive, here's a suggestion!

Keep me posted on how your week has been in the comment section below!  Love ya!

endeWhat's up guys and girls!

How's your weekend going?!  I hope it's been a great one!

It's a beautiful day here in L.A. - a little bit hazy - but it's refreshing!  This day has a hint of spring/summer in the air, and that alone makes me smile!

I'm also smiling because of my friends.  Yep, all of YOU - the friends who I know in-person and on social media!  I'm super fortunate that you guys and girls are in my life, and I truly appreciate your friendship.

I was out and about in Hollywood last night with some friends, and we ended up chatting about social media and how it is such an incredible and powerful way to get to know and to connect with individuals everywhere.  This is obvious, I suppose, but I always enjoy being reminded of how fortunate I am to have met so many amazing people so far in my life, including lots of you guys and girls through my writing/blogs and through my YouTube!

I just wanted to take a minute and say thank you for helping to make me smile.  :)

OH!  And there are new articles up on acting.about.com, and a new YouTube video which I posted on St. Patty's Day!

LOVE YA!!

Jesse (and BENICE - who also is happy to be friends with you all!)  x

Green Beer or Green Tea...

What's up guys and girls!  Happy St. Patrick's Day!!  What a lucky day it is to be alive.  :)

How did you spend your St. Patty's Day?!  (Actually, I'm sure that many of you are still enjoying it tonight, living it up and drinking green beer!!)  I, on the other hand, am waking up super early tomorrow and have elected to stay in with some green tea!  Not quite as exciting as green beer, but it's equally as yummy!

Also, as we speak/as I type, I've been uploading a new video to my YouTube channel, and I think you all will like this one!  My friend Spencer Morgan and I filmed it today, and we had a great time! Benice Begas is involved, of course!

St. Patrick's Day is universally known as being an Irish celebration, and being Irish myself, I certainly want to join in on the party of this lucky-day!!  However I believe it's also equally important to remember that each and every single day that we're blessed to wake up to is a "lucky" day.  Every day, we have a brand new chance to start again, to do a better job than we did today!  That's pretty awesome to think about, isn't it?!

Luck

Now, the concept of "luck" in general is something that - admittedly - I have mixed feelings about.  Is "luck" a real thing?  What about "chance" or "fate?"  Gah, I wish I had the answers to these questions!!

I did, however, write about some of my thoughts on this topic in regards to a career in the entertainment industry.  Here's the link if you'd like to check it out!

Anyway, friends, I believe that we are all extremely fortunate to have this moment.  This moment will not come again.  Let's try to enjoy it as much as possible, shall we?!

With lots of love, (and alright, a little luck!) guys and girls,

Jesse O'Connor Daley  x
(I told you I'm Irish hahah)

We Have Sprung Forward!

Happy early Tuesday morning, guys and girls!

It's just after 1 AM now on the 15th - WHERE IS THIS MONTH GOING?? - and I'm sipping on some decaf green tea.  I love this time of the day, especially when I'm writing.  If I had a little bit of pasta to eat at the moment, it would be totally perfect!  You know, I also love this time of year, when we turn the clocks ahead.  The sun stays out so much later, and it feels like we're getting much closer to summer!

It's been a busy start to the week here in L.A. so far!  I worked on set on Sunday, Monday I had a great commercial acting class with Chris Game, (check out an interview with him here!) and I'm off to another awesome class tomorrow night with my acting coach, Billy Hufsey.  He is awesome.

Gosh, I feel like I have learned a tremendous amount about life through studying the craft of acting. It's been quite a ride so far.  As I've mentioned before, thank you to all of you guys and girls who have been on this journey with me for several years now - in person, and on social media through my blogs and on my YouTube channel!

And speaking of my YouTube channel and the pursuit of dreams, as I point out in a video which I uploaded over the weekend, don't ever give up, friends.  Whatever your dream may be, go for it!  All that we have is right now. Aim to utilize this moment in a positive way, live it up, and never give up.

(OH!  I'm super excited to publish new articles on acting.about.com with several interviews with some pretty amazing individuals!!)

Lots of love!

Hey what's up guys and girls!  How's your evening coming along?  I hope it's a good one!

All is well with me; I just received a new laptop in the mail and I'm super excited about it!  Honestly, I have so many ideas throughout the day for writing/blogging (and also ideas for my YouTube channel!) that I've found that I need something that's small enough to keep with me constantly throughout the day, and I think I've finally found what I need (besides my iPhone!)

In fact, while on the topic of writing, I suppose I'll remind all of you that I just published a piece about Nancy Reagan on my site over at About.com.  Nancy Reagan; What a woman she was!  I find it very interesting - yet not very surprising - that she explained how much her acting career helped to prepare her for the ride in politics which she and Ronald Reagan embarked on together.  (You can read the article here!)

An acting career certainly is an interesting journey, and I feel that my journey so far into this career path has prepared me for so many amazing life experiences!  And I truly appreciate all of you who have supported me from the very beginning!  So many of my readers here on "Behind The Sign" have been my friends/followers for years now.  Thank you for always being a part of my life and helping me to live out my dream!

The main thing that I want all of you to remember when visiting my blogs is that YOU have the power to create the sort of life that you dream of.  It's not always easy, and keeping a positive outlook when you're struggling is tough.  However I believe that it is absolutely possible to make your dream your reality if you work hard, keep faith, and be good to yourself and those around you.

There are many people who believe in you - myself included.  Be sure that you whole heartedly believe in yourself. :)

Hey guys and girls!!

How are you?  I hope you're having a wonderful week so far!

All has been great with me, and I had such an amazing birthday weekend last week!!  My great friends Lucas, Matthew and Kate took me on a Vegas adventure and it was incredible!  (As you can see from this photo here on the blog post, I was smiling a lot!!)

-- Also, THANK YOU again for all of your amazing Happy Birthday wishes!!

Besides partying it up (and living it up!) last week, this week has been great too.  I've been busy with writing on my "Acting" blog! I've had the incredible opportunity to interview so many amazing individuals here in Hollywood!!  (Check out acting.about.com for some of the interviews which are already posted!)

Oh!  Currently I'm working on a new song cover for my YouTube account - and as a just tweeted a few minutes ago - this one might be a little bit out of my vocal range!  But, we shall see how it goes! Haha.  I'm planning on filming it tomorrow.

Please feel free to let me know how you guys and girls are doing!  I love to keep up with all of you!

LOTS OF LOVE!
