Guys and girls!!  What's up!  How are all of you out there on DaleyPlanet??

I feel like it's been forever since I've posted on here.  OK, it's only been about 3 days - but still - in a blogger's world, that's essentially a lifetime!

Just in case you happen to have any interest in my life, I'll give ya a quick lil update on what's been going on!  I have been extremely busy for the past couple of days.  To be completely honest, I cannot comprehend that it is 2AM on Thursday morning.  Where has this week gone?!

On Sunday, (which feels like yesterday) I attended the Daytime Emmy Awards, and it was an incredible experience!  Check out this slideshow of my experience!!

Between Monday and today, I've been to work, class, a singing class, and everywhere in between!  I can't recall if I told you or not, but I'm learning how to read music again in my singing class!  it's quite a thrilling - yet difficult - endeavor!

That brings me to earlier today!  (Well, I suppose it should be called yesterday (Wednesday) and it was another great yet busy day.  Gotta love life in Hollywood - we're always on the move out here!! Haha.

I appreciate your allowing me to share my thoughts with all of you.  And, how are all of YOU!?  Are you smiling today?  I hope you are.  You're a beautiful guy or girl who is reading this, so I think you should smile!  :)

Lots of Love,

The Daytime Emmys Are Coming on Sunday!

What's up guys and girls!!  Happy Friday!! Woooooo it's the weekend!  I'm super excited!

Tonight I'll be seeing my good friends Kate, Matt and Lucas, and I'm hoping to jump down to the OC to see Mama Daley and her plump-pup, PUNKY, on Saturday!

On Sunday the Daytime Emmy's are coming to LA!  As some of you may know, I love the soap operas - which are celebrated during the Daytime Emmys!  I had a ton of fun when I had the opportunity to have a couple of small roles on General Hospital a couple of years ago.  (The casting director of General Hosptial, Mark Teschner, is one of the most kind individuals who I've met in Hollywood!  Read more about Mark Teschner here!)

What are you all up to this lovely weekend?  Feel free to leave a message below, or tweet me!

Have a great night, my friends!  Remind yourself that you're beautiful and can achieve anything!

Thanks for being my DaleyPlanet friends!!

Happy Thursday afternoon from Hollywood!  This simple post is just a little daily "Daley" reminder!

You can achieve anything that you set your mind to.  It will require hard work and dedication, but nothing is impossible.

Oh yeah, and you're beautiful just as you are.

Focus on The Positives!

4/22/2015

What's up guys and girls!  Happy EARLY Thursday morning!  How was the day on Wednseday?  All was great for me; it was another beautiful day here in Southern California!  It was actually a little bit on the cool-side - and it was also a bit cloudy - (rare for CA!!) but it was still amazing!

There is so much beauty to be seen in each and every day.  I posted a quote to  my Instagram account this evening, and the quote reads, "When it rains, look for rainbows.  When it's dark, look for stars."

This quote is fantastic.

It reminds us to constantly seek out the positives of all situations.  At times in life, it may not be easy to see each and every blessing that is within every situation.  Life can bring challenges our way, and some we may not be prepared for!  However, if we remain in a mindset that is positive, hopeful, eager to learn and if we aim to "go with the flow," lessons-to-be-learned eventually become clear.

It is very easy to focus on something negative.  Let's look at an example:

Say that you are struggling financially.  Focusing on the problem itself and dwelling on it will not make you feel better.  You may find yourself in a mental loop, repeating such things as, "I'm so broke" or "I have no money," or "It's so annoying to not have any money."

Guess what?  If you focus on the negative idea of what you don't have, not much is going to change.  In fact, you'll be dragging in more negative energy into your life which, in turn, will likely hold you back from actually growing in all areas of life, including "financially."

Instead, when faced with a hardship, focus your energy on the positive aspects of the situation.  In the financial example above, though it may be true that money can be tight at times, focus on how much you already have in life!  And truly appreciate everything and everyone around you!

Focus on seeing yourself as a success.  As I mention in another article, your "success" has much more to do with how you define it, rather than monetary value.  (Click here for the article.)

Money can't buy true friendship, happiness, or anything truly worthwhile in life.  Besides, there are always ways to make more money, and being open to all possibilities will lead you to right opportunity for you!

This is just one example of many.  There are always positives to be found in all situations, sometimes we just have to take a very close look at a circumstance.

I'll close this post with a great quote from mental health scientist, Dr. Wayne Dyer:
"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change."

Choose to look at the positives, my friends!  It's sooo much better than negativity!

LOVE YA!  :D

Shower Yourself In a Lil Love Today

Hey again, guys and girls!  How's your Tuesday coming along?  I'm doing great, and am currently sitting at a Starbucks right next door to the SAG-AFTRA building;  I started a brand new singing class today over at the union today!  Woooooo!

This singing class is rather unique, as I'm learning to read music as opposed to only taking a vocal lesson!  It's quite similar to learning a new language.  Although I grew up singing, reading music, playing piano, and being a member of a choir, it has been a long time since I've actually studied music, let alone reading it!  I'm happy to be involving myself with more music again!  (Thank you for watching my song covers on my YouTube!)

Anyway, enough about me.  This post is about YOU, my friend.  How are you feeling today?  Are you enjoying this Tuesday?  In general, has someone asked how you are today?  I want you to know that you've got a friend here on this blog, and if you ever feel like you're feeling "down" or "alone," remember that you're loved.  I love ya, and I am confident that many other people do, too!  I, for one, am typically only a tweet or two away, so feel free to reach out, day or night!

Sometimes, simply taking a minute to ask how another person is feeling can completely turn his or her day around.  When someone asks how I'm doing, it always feels nice to know that someone is willing to listen!  And when we reach out to one another, we are reminded that we're never alone.  :D

Life can be tough, as many of us know.  Yet, there is never a time when you should feel like you are going through something all alone.

We are all human, and we are all struggling with certain things, whether we show them outwardly or not.

I read a story about a high school in Pennsylvania last night - apparently there was an "anti-gay" day that was organized by several people at the school.  This completely breaks my heart.  I hope that with the extensive media coverage on this story, some good will come out of it, and it will shed more light on the subject of equal rights and acceptance of being who you are.

For anyone who has ever felt judged or has struggled with feelings of sadness due to negative actions on the part of others, remind yourself that you are strong, and you can overcome anything. And you're never alone!  There are many, many people in the world who will shower you with love, and not hate.

Regardless of what you may be dealing with today, stay strong.  I hope you recognize how beautiful you are.  Shower yourself with some love today, my friend.

Happy EARLY Tuesday morning, fellow Daliens! As many of you know, I don't like to sleep!!  Sleep is boring! Therefore, I am awake and blogging away!
You know, guys and girls, Hollywood is a really crazy place. It's incredible, yet it's very intense. (Click  here to read all about that!)

Sometimes, heading over to the beach here in SOCAL is a much-needed, relaxing break from the craziness.  Yet, sometimes, it's even crazier than Hollywood, especially when visiting VENICE BEACH!

Check out my awesome and wild day on Venice Beach!!  -->  BeachDay.Weebly.com

A Sunday In California!

Ah, Sunday!  It's always a great day, isn't it!  I think everyday in California should be called "sun"day - as the skies are typically clear with blazing sunshine!  And you all should come visit us if you don't already live here!  I'll meet you for a milkshake or a coffee!  :D

Today is my friend Matt's birthday!  Last night we all went out and had a great time; first at a club in Hollywood, and later at a club in West Hollywood!  West Hollywood is always incredible - the party literally never stops!

As I mentioned in my last post here on my blog, let your talent shine, my friend.  Your talent - and who you are - make you completely unique!  As an actor, being YOU will set you apart, even in this massive industry that is entertainment!

The same is true in every area of life.  Unique = AWESOME and UNSTOPPABLE!

My friends and I are now headed off to the beach!!  I'll post on my other blog, "Beach Day" and let you know how it is!!

LOVE YOU!!  BE YOU!

Let Your Talents Shine!

Happy Saturday, guys and girls!  How are you on this lovely morning?!  Here in LA, the sun is shining and it's beautiful out!  I hope the same is true wherever you're reading this post from!

I'm just about to grab a cup of coffee and some breakfast!  My friends Matt, Kyle, Clayton and I are planning  to go to an amazing restaurant here in LA called, "Du-pars."  Honestly, if you live near here, you should check it out.  They have the best breakfast food around!!

From there, I'm going to be writing, and then preparing to celebrate another friend's birthday!  (His name is also Matt!)

The PARTAY never ends, my friends!!  Haha!

Honestly, I love to have a great time.  I love to work hard and play hard, and fortunately, I have some of the best friends a guy could ask for to enjoy my time with!  We only get one life, and I believe that it's crucial to do everything that we can to live it up as often as possible, and to share as much love as we can.

As I write about often, I believe that being true to who you are is extremely important.  All of you who are reading this are completely unique, and you possess many gifts which may be shared with the world!  (My actor friends, I believe that your talent is an incredible gift!  Click here to read why!)

Let your talents shine, my friends!

What are your plans for today?  Feel free to tweet me and keep me posted on everything that you're up to!

2 BEHIND THE SIGN POSTS IN ONE DAY?!

4/16/2015

I'm just on a roll today here on BEHIND THE SIGN!! This must be due to the 5 cups of coffee which I have consumed since approximately 11AM.  (It's almost 4:30PM here in California, so that's A LOT of caffeine!

The reason that I'm writing another blog post is because I wanted to post a quote that I read online today. You may have seen that I posted it onto my twitter account, too!  This quote by Les Brown reads, "Life has no limitations, except the ones you make."

How powerful is that?!  And also, it's so true.

Guys and girls, you have the power to make all of your dreams come true.  You have the power to create the life of your dreams right NOW!  It all begins with believing in yourself and in the power of your dreams.

Regardless of your current situation today - whether it be financial issues, health issues, relationship issues - or anything else, trust that you're never "stuck."  There is always something positive that we make out of a seemingly difficult situation.  The possibilities are endless, and there are,  (as Les Brown puts it,) "no limitations" to what you can do - if you believe in yourself and seize the moment.

Never Give Up!!

Another day, Another Blessing

4/16/2015

Happy Thursday, guys and girls!

How's the day going for you?  I suppose I should ask, "What day is it where you are in the world?" In Australia, it's already tomorrow, I believe!  I'll have to check with my friend Daniel about that the next time he's in the USA.  He's an awesome guy, by the way.  Check out his work in this interview!

My thoughts this morning revolve around blessings.  I truly had a great day yesterday, (Wednesday,) and now today is another beautiful day.  Honestly it is all due to the fact that I have many incredible friends around me.  My friends are not just physically around me, either!  You guys and girls who are reading this post are included in this, too!

Our "DaleyPlanet" social-media family, which has grown to almost 10.5K "Daliens" represents a peaceful, loving world in which everyone is accepted for being exactly who they are.  It is my hope that in the future, we will see a physical world that is completely filled with love, and no hate or judgement.

In the meantime, I believe that if we keep doing something everyday that has a positive influence on someone else, we can actually work toward creating that sort of world, wherever you may live at!

Thanks for being a blessing in my life, my friends!

Today...

I'm going to try to catch some rays between work!  And I hope that you all will be sharing your own rays of sunshine through your smiles.  I challenge you to focus on happiness, and sharing that happiness with everyone around you.  You're beautiful, and others around you need to see your beauty! :)

LOVE YA!!
