...didn't drive somewhere.  LA - I LOVE YOU, but, there are WAY too many cars here!  Haha.  It's all good though, just like everything else in life, we must take the good with the bad!

So far today, my friends, I have worked a lot on my writing, I walked to my favorite cafe in Hollywood, (Tiago Cafe) and I went for a run!  It's been a really nice, relaxing day.  How's your day been?  Feel free to tweet me and let me know how you're feeling!  (I hope you're happy!)

As you can see from the photo that I attached, there are some really beautiful flowers around Hollywood.  This photo was taken on Hollywood Blvd!

There are so many beautiful things around us, all the time.  Take a second to appreciate something or someone beautiful around you right now.  (You can include yourself in that, too!)  ;)

Have a great evening!!

Share Your Story

Hey what's up guys and girls!  Happy early Saturday morning!!

Remember how I've explained before that don't like to sleep - how I find it to be somewhat boring? Well, here I am again, up at the wee hours of the morning writing on my blog (and writing on acting.about.com!) - sleep just isn't fun for me!  Haha.

I always like this time of day simply because I feel like I'm cheating the world in terms of time; I'm awake while so many of my neighbors are still asleep.  For some reason I like the idea that I'm not missing out on anything that is happening I suppose.  RANDOM, I know!

Anyway, my thought for you this morning is in regards to your story.  What is "random" for you, in your life?  What sorts of things make you the awesome person that you are?

We all learn from one another, and we are all different.  And now, with the power of social media, we are able to be connected and learn from one another more than ever.

So if you have a message that you want to share with the world, start sharing it!  I want to learn from you.  I'm sure that lots of others do, too.  :)

Start a blog, start a YouTube channel, start sharing your experiences and your gifts with the world. I have found that since I've started posting to my YouTube, it has been extremely rewarding in the way that I'm able to make new friends all over the world, simply by telling my story.  And you can do the same!

For example, if you have overcome a challenge (which was a topic of a recent video post on my YouTube channel) share it with the world!  You never know who may be facing a similar hardship.  You can help that person by telling them how you overcame it.

There is no better time to start sharing your story and your thoughts with the world!

Have a great day, and keep being you!

What's up guys and girls!!

Happy Thursday night from California!

How has your day been?  Today has been a great day for me;  I worked on lots of writing for acting.about.com, I worked out, I had the privilege of meeting two of my best friends for coffee - Liz and Kate - AND I went to the post office!

---OK the Post Office wasn't really all that exciting.  But it was alright.  Haha.

OH!  I also filmed and posted a YouTube video.  I told a little story in this video that I hope you will check out!   Here's the link.

Never let anyone bring you down, and aim to always keep smiling, my friends!

LOVE YA!

Something Super Scary Happened This Weekend!

Hey guys and girls!!

I hope your weekend was amazing!  Mine was awesome, however, something scary happened while in the ocean at Newport Beach on Sunday!  While body-surfing in the waves, I was caught in an intense riptide current!

If you don't know what  rip current is, according to Wikipedia, "it is a is one specific kind of water current that can be found near beaches. It is a strong, localized, and rather narrow current of water."

Basically, it means that a very strong current of water pulls you out to sea, and it's impossible to swim against it to get back to the shore.  Yes, it is as terrifying as it sounds.

I'm going to be uploading a new VLOG to my YouTube Channel which documents a lot of the events from this past weekend in Orange County, and I'll talk more about this experience!

In the meantime, if you are a swimmer/surfer/ocean/lake enthusiast like I am, be sure to read about how to escape a rip current! (Check out the attached photo here for tips.)  Knowing what to do in a rip current can save your life.

Whew, what a crazy weekend.  I'm really excited for you to watch my latest video, though!  It was a weekend to remember, - even though this scary event occurred!  Luckily, all is well, and it was just a scare!

Talk soon, and love you all!!

PS - I posted a new YouTube video on Friday and here in the link!  AND, new articles will be uploaded to acting.about.com this week, too!  If you have a minute, thank you for checking them out!!

If You're Feeling Down...

8/12/2015

Hey guys and girls!  Even though it's 2:30 AM, I'm sure that some of you are awake just like me.
So, to my friends who are awake:  How are you?!  I hope you're smiling at this moment!

In my opinion, there is no better feeling than feeling good, and feeling excited about life.  It is so important to live it up!

That being said, for those of you who may be having a difficult time or are feeling low this morning, I have a message for you in this blog post: Things will get better.  I can promise you that.  Although I cannot promise you exactly when things will improve in your life, I can guarantee that whatever you may be struggling with at this moment will pass.  It will certainly change.  In fact, everything changes, whether we want it to or not.  After all, as the famous quote by Heraclitus says, "Change is the only constant in life."

What can you do in this moment if you are struggling with something?  Here are 3 Tips:
If you're feeling down at the moment, consider the following suggestions:

1)  You're Not Alone - Reach Out

Everyone is dealing with something today.  The most important thing to remember, my friend, is that you are not alone.  Family, friends, counselors and many others are here for you. (I'm also here for you!)  Don't be afraid to reach out, ever.  (This is especially true if you have any thoughts of suicide, depression, or anything like that, of course.)

2)  Talk About It

Along the lines of the first suggestion, talking about your feelings is extremely helpful.  I have found that when I'm not feeling great, simply talking with a trusted friend can help me to sort though my thoughts.  When we don't talk about things, we end up going around and around in our own minds, thinking about something over and over again - often times without resolution.  Talking about your feelings, getting them out, especially when it is something that is causing you to feel down, can be extremely beneficial to you.

3)  Write About Your Feelings

Talking is great, and you know what is also great?  Writing.  I love writing, and whenever I am feeling nervous about something, or dealing with something difficult, I allow myself to feel every emotion that I am experiencing.  (Avoiding feelings is not going to help in the long run.)  I think about how I am feeling, and I write down my thoughts, including what I'm feeling and going through.  Writing allows me to sort through many thoughts.

You're never alone.  For those of you having a tough time at the moment, it will get better.

Never give up!  You are loved.

Hi guys and girls!!  Happy Sunday!

I typically don't sleep all that much, as I have a ton of energy naturally!  But I must have really needed it last night because I slept for almost 9 full hours!  Crazy - (for me anyway)!

Luckily, I feel like I've been completely recharged and I'm ready to live it up today!  I am off to film another new YouTube video - a collaboration video - with a new friend who I met from YouTube!  This is just another reason why this wonderful world of YouTube is so incredible.  New friends, new videos, new experiences!

I'll let you know as soon as the video is posted to my YouTube channel!

Also, I'll be uploading new articles to acting.about.com this week!  Please be sure to be on the lookout!

Talk to you soon!

I AM GOING TO UPLOAD A NEW VIDEO FOR MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL VERY SOON!!

WHY AM I YELLING?!  (You might be thinking?)

Well, it's because I am incredibly excited about working more with my YouTube channel; and specifically I am excited to be having the privilege of getting to know many of YOU!

Although YouTube has been around for a while now (and I've actually had a channel since approximately 2008!)  I've finally been posting more and building the channel into something that I hope will be a positive, fun environment for all to enjoy.

I'm super excited for the next video for many reasons, but mostly, I'm excited because you will have the opportunity to meet more of my amazing friends!  These friends are a huge reason why I'm utilizing YouTube the way that I am now.  They've completely inspired me.  (You know who you are!) x

I don't want to give too much away, but you'll see the video soon enough!  It'll be up soon.  Be sure to subscribe to my channel to get a notification when it's uploaded!

Love you all!  Thanks for all of your support and kind comments!!
