All Things Will Change - So Live It Up!

Hey guys and girls!!  Hope your day is off to a great start.  It is super early here in California, and I am up - and livin' it up!  Haha.  I really enjoy writing in the early morning hours.  In fact, I included a little vlog post about this morning!  Check it out on YouTube.com/JesseDaley1!  (It'll be posted later in the day!)

I wanted to quickly share a story with you all.  Yesterday, Wednesday, was not the best day for me, and I feel like sharing this lesson may help you all when you're not having the best day!  I simply was not feeling amazing, and while not feeling too great, I stopped myself, and looked around.  I like to do this as it brings me back to the present moment, the "now".  I observed that the sun has changed position in the sky, as it is now the season of Fall.  And even though the temperature remains basically the same here in California (woooo!), things are still always changing.  We are in a totally new season now, and everything around us is changing, constantly.

The point in bringing this up is that had I not taken a moment to look around yesterday, I might have let time go by feeling "bad" and thinking that those "bad" feelings would continue.  But, no matter how "stagnant" things may feel in your life, things are constantly changing, and we must not lose sight of that fact that nothing will stay the same forever. Good and not-so-good times will all pass! And we must train our minds to focus on the good in all situations.

I realized while observing the changing position of the sun that this day would pass, the sun would set, and then (hopefully!) rise again.  Nothing is guaranteed, and we need to live life to the fullest all the time.  Try your very best to focus on the good things around you (even when times are hard).

I'd like to point out, too, that at this time in the morning, the sun has still not risen.  But I have faith that it will, and that's another lesson to remember; appreciate the present moment, and always have hope for the future!

Here's to a sunny Thursday, my friends! :)
