A New Day

I started this post at midnight, and am just posting now hahah -

Hey guys and girls!!  As many of you know all too well, I sleep very random hours.  It's just after midnight now here in Hollywood, and I thought I'd take to my blog, say what's up, and share some thoughts with ya!

I just glanced down at my clock and calendar, and I am stunned to see that it's July 23rd.  Why does life go by so fast?!  It's crazy!  And it's too fast, my friends!  Life moves so quickly, and I believe that it's very important to try to live it up every single day.  The thought that I want to share with you this morning is similar to what I often discuss; to utilize every moment to aim to feel happy, and to pursue your dream.  And if you're struggling with something, now is the time to help put it behind you.

We are all struggling with something.  But life is too short and moves far too quickly to struggle unnecessarily.  We must take control, take charge of what is hurting us, and holding us back.
Facing a difficulty or a "challenge" head-on, rather than trying to avoid it is much more helpful in the long run.  Avoiding something doesn't make it simply go away.  All that avoidance really does is delay your having to deal with whatever it is that is troubling you until a later date.  And all that time goes by!  Don't let that happen!

The good news however is that we always have a choice.  Regardless of what we may be facing on any given day, confronting and accepting something that is bothering us allows us to take some control.  Are you having financial issues, for example? Are you avoiding dealing with some sort of break-up, or relationship issue?  Anxiety/depression/illness?  Or maybe you're struggling with a inner battle, such as considering "coming out" as LGBT, and maybe you are afraid?  Possibly you don't know if you should "come out" or what the best way to do it would be.

There are many examples that I could list.  But the point is that we all have things that we carry with us, each and every day.  Some of these issues are never able to be seen by another person.  I can sit here and remind you time and time again how beautiful and amazing/unique you are.  But you must see it yourself!  Don't suffer in silence.  What is important to remember is that whatever sort of struggle you may be going through, you're not alone. You are never alone!  We are all human and deal with similar issues.  There's never a need to feel upset or struggle through something on your own.

There are resources to help you through struggles.  I urge you to not be afraid to talk about your feelings with friends/family.

And remember that you've always got a friend here on Daleyplanet.  <3

Here's to happiness - and a new day with a fresh opportunity to feel good!

Jesse xx
