Quick Thoughts About Today!

What's up guys and girls!  Today was an amazing day.  To be completely honest, every day in Hollywood is pretty amazing.  This truly is such an incredibly beautiful and vibrant city!  Alright, there's some "smog" at times, yes, however I choose to look past that minor inconvenience. (...Although, I suppose "smog" could be majorly affecting my health... Regardless, I'm going to ignore it for now!)  ANYWAYS, it is the men and women that make up our community that make this city so beautiful and vibrant!

There is an incredible amount of energy in the city; it feels electric at times!  This may be part of the reason why my level of energy is always super-charged!  I never want to stop moving - and errm, partying! We only live once - and we need to live it up, every possible chance that we get!!  At least, I think so.  Haa.  I try not to over-due it.  And luckily, I have amazing friends that keep an eye out for me!

"Living it up" involves pursuing passions (aside from partying, obviously!)  Music is one of my (many) passions that I am spending more time working with.  It's been great!  I took some time today to play my guitar and sing a little bit.  Additionally, BENICE and I walked around Hollywood Blvd with our friend Davin Stanley today.  Good times, good times!!   You can catch a quick glimpse of all of today's crazy adventures by clicking here!

I've been teaching myself more about strumming patters and learning chords!  It's tough, but it's worth it.  In fact, anything that you really want to do or accomplish is going to take a lot of hard work. But, I firmly believe that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to, through putting in hard work, and and not giving up.  It's important to give yourself credit for the small achievements that you make along your journey towards your ultimate goal.  You'll get there, my friends!  One day at at time!

Do what makes you happy!  Life is too short not to!

I'm off to bed; I need to wake up in about 4 hours!! -

Thanks for being a part of DaleyPlanet, where everyone is accepted and loved for who they are.

Lots of love!

There's This Magical Time in the Morning Sometimes...

There is this magical time in the morning hours that, once in a great while, I wake up in the middle of. The feelings that I experience during this time don't really make sense to me; I cannot figure out what these feelings mean for my life; I realize that might sound crazy - but I just want to write about it here and share it with all of you.  This time is very early, usually before sunrise, that I will wake up and feel like everything about life is so incredibly simple!  It’s somewhat of a “miracle hour.”  And I cannot figure out if it is a phenomenon involving the sleep cycle or not, but when this happens to me, I feel that I’m almost dreaming; nothing matters apart from having this intense understanding about life and what truly matters.  There are no thoughts about what needs to be done, no stress, there are no anxieties about the day that I'm about to face.  All that I feel is this overwhelming sense of peace.   It's almost as if time stands still, just for a few seconds.

These fleeting moments seem to disappear so quickly, and I feel myself wanting them to stay with me, to keep telling me that everything is going to be OK… And, I feel myself thinking over and over about the meaning of life and trying to figure it out, and desperately trying to understand it.  I think about God.  And I think to myself in these moments, "All that the universe – (and all that any of us) are made up of are particles of magical/divine dust,” and, “We all are here for a blink of an eye, and then we are gone.”  So fast - and too ridiculously quickly.

It’s not a sad feeling that I experience.  In fact, it’s quite the opposite!  It is an overpowering desire to LIVE!  It is in these moments that everything about life is easily able to be seen as a complete miracle.  I think about the gifts that I have been given; from all of my friends and family who are a part of my life, to being able to have the gift of seeing my dreams coming true in front of my eyes.

Friends, we must seize the day; every single day.  Honestly, I wish that there was a way to keep the “Miracle Hour” going, keep the peace going, and never get caught up in stressful situations that simply don’t matter in the bigger picture of life.  Let’s try to never let a moment go by without trying to remind ourselves how small we are; yet how powerful we are, and how we can all impact the world in a positive way, during the short time that we are here on Earth.  Through relentless faith and strength, I believe that we all have the power within us to create the kind of person that we want to be, and create the kind of life that we hope to live.  If you want to achieve something, you CAN, and you WILL.
