Good morning, friends!  It's another beautiful day in L.A. on this lovely Sunday morning!!  I haven't had any coffee or breakfast yet, however I'm still feeling quite energetic as usual haha.  Last night was an amazing time with my great friends, Kate, Matt and Lucas!  (Kate mentioned that she reads these posts, so HI KATE!  Thank you for always reading these and just being awesome overall!)

You know, the Hollywood nightlife scene is quite intense.  (Remember, this is the "Intense-City after all!") And I must admit that I love every minute of it!!  One thing that I can't ever  seem to understand, however, is how quickly the next morning comes.  It's possible that the rum punches and the dancing interferes with my ability to keep track of time (ha), but I find myself yearning for time to "pause" during nights like last night.  I never want any of it to end.  There's got to be a time-warp that occurs between approximately 10PM-3AM..

Anyway, enough of those random thoughts!  The reality is that the morning has come again!  But this morning was a little bit different than other mornings for me.  I've really tried to take in each moment.  I mean, I always try to do this, but life can get hectic very quickly.  It's so important to take a look around your room, your environment, and appreciate the little things that we don't always pay too close attention to.  For example, there is a humming bird that frequently visits my balcony and my humming bird feeder.  I was on my balcony this morning, and I was taking a moment to listen to some other birds chirping away, and I thought about how I haven't seen the humming bird in a while.  I realized that the humming bird feeder was empty!  The poor lil guy has probably been starving!  I've kind of missed seeing him come by so often, even though I don't always pay too much attention to this type of moment on a "normal" hectic day in Hollywood.

By simply slowing down to listen to the other birds, I came to the realization of how important the humming bird is to me!

This is sort of a random story I suppose, haha.  But my point is that if we all try to slow down a little bit sometimes, we see things that we might miss if we're constantly thinking about what's next.  I hope that you'll take a couple minutes today and appreciate the moment that you are given.  :)

Hope you have a great Sunday!!

Jesse xx
