At the time of this post, the sun is just setting here in Orange County, and I have had some time to relax and reflect on the past couple of weeks. I truly can't believe that Holidays and the New Year celebrations have come and gone! I had a great time with my family and friends, and simply relaxing, which I am very thankful for! I am also very excited for jumping back into the Hollywood-life now that it's 2015!!
I have admit that I miss my twin sister and my aunt. I will see them again soon God-willing, but I don't like to ever say goodbye to people - even if it's a temporary goodbye. Goodbyes have never been easy for me.
On the topic of "goodbyes," I want to remind everyone tonight that every single time that we say "goodbye" to someone, we are not guaranteed to see them again. Nothing in life is guaranteed, and time is included in that.
Now, my intention for this post is certainly not to sound depressing - don't worry!! I simply think it's important that we keep in mind that we should treat each other with kindness and love at all times, and never leave anything unsaid. As I posted a while back, John Mayer's song, "Say What You Need To Say," sums everything up nicely.
I hope you'll remind yourself of this the next time you say "goodbye" to a loved one, even if its just a temporary "goodbye." Tell people what they mean to you today! There's never a better time than now. :)
