What's up everyone!!  Thanks for checking Behind The Sign!  I truly appreciate your being here.  I assume that if you're at my blog, you're a happy, positive person.  (Most people on DALEYPLANET are happy people!)  ;)

Positive people are the best.  ....But what about people who are, ermmm, just plain not nice?  What about the people in your life who may be angry or upset a lot of the time?  Today, I want to quickly write a little bit about how to deal with a negative person who may be involved in your life.  I hope to give you some suggestions on how to rise above that negative energy!!

There are SO many unhappy people in the world.  It's very unfortunate, but it is true.  Many people are not happy with their lives, their jobs, their relationships....blah blah blah.  That's a sad thing, because in reality, it is an individual's choice  to be unhappy and to be negative.  YOU don't have to live that way.  And you certainly do not have to accept being treated poorly by someone who IS a negative person!  Nothing annoys me more than seeing someone who is grumpy, or someone who is rude to other people.  That type of person typically goes about their life complaining, moping around, and consistently will make a comment that is very negative -usually about another person.  (Bullies are similar to this.  Why?  Because they are negative people!)

What I advise you to do when you encounter a negative person is to smile, be polite to them, and then turn and run the other way as fast as you can!! Haha.  Now, look.  I get it.  It's not always possible to escape negative people.  You may have to work with them, or worse, live with them!  In this type of scenario, I advise that you keep a "distance" between this person as much as possible, as negative energy will bring your spirit down- no matter what.  If someone at work is treating you poorly for example, go above them to their supervisor.  Never accept being treated badly!

I also think that if you notice that someone is perpetually unhappy, why not go and ask them what's bothering them!  Honestly, most people just need someone to talk to.  It's worth a shot.  Maybe that person will open up to you and make a change for the positive in their life!  Or, maybe he or she will just get more angry.  Well, that's not your problem is it?  It's theirs.  Happiness is a choice for everybody.  No matter what Always.

Your main  job (in my opinion) is to be good to yourself and to be good to other people.  And for goodness sake, to be happy!  So, go and chase those positive people down, and always keep em' in your life!  :))  #BeHappy
